In a historic gathering that rekindles the royal splendor of Aboh Kingdom, Chief Tony Amechi, the Ajuwa of Aboh Kingdom, stood alongside His Imperial Majesty, Obi Oputa III, to welcome the esteemed delegation of the Urhobo Traditional Rulers Association of DeltaState, Nigeria, at the royal palace in Aboh.

The distinguished delegation was led by HRM Solomon Okunkeren, the Ovie of Arhawarien Kingdom and Vice Chairman of the Association, accompanied by HRM Richard Oghenevwogaga Ebelle, the Ovie of Agbarha Otor Kingdom (Secretary General of the Association); HRM King Obukohwo Whiskey, the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom; HRM Ogheneochuko Morris Eyekpimi-Egboboyen, the Orosuen of Okere Urhobo Kingdom; and HRM Kingsley Emakpo Orereh, Igbi II, the Ovie of Agbarha-Warri Kingdom.
Also present were notable traditional leaders, including the Onowu of Onogbokor, Ozu of Igbuku, and the Igwe of Abala, among others, all bearing witness to this momentous occasion.
However, this visit was more than just a royal assembly—it was a powerful affirmation of unity, cultural heritage, and a shared future.
As the rhythmic beats of royal drums filled the air and words of wisdom flowed like the great River Niger, a deeper message emerged: Aboh Kingdom is reclaiming its historical prominence.
As the elders say, “A tree with deep roots will always find its way back to the sun.” Under the reign of His Imperial Majesty, Obi Oputa III, Aboh Kingdom is once again rising as a beacon of unity, peace, and prosperity for Ndokwa land.
