The sun rose with a somber tone over Utagba-Uno today, as the leaders and dignitaries of Ndokwa Nation gathered to bid their final farewell to the late Chief Boniface Wilson Onah, the younger brother of esteemed elder statesman Rear Admiral Mike Onah (rtd.).
Among the prominent figures who attended the funeral was Chief Tony Amechi, a triple chief and the Special Adviser to the Governor of Delta State on Investment.
Dressed in his traditional regalia, High Chief Amechi arrived at the service, joined by other distinguished sons and daughters of Ndokwa Nation.
They gathered in unity to mourn and honour the legacy of a man whose life had a profound impact on his family and community.
The ceremony was a heartfelt blend of solemn reflections, cultural rites, and tributes, celebrating the life and lasting influence of Chief Boniface Wilson Onah.
The event was graced by high-ranking political leaders, business moguls, and various community representatives.
High Chief Tony Amechi extended his condolences to Rear Admiral Mike Onah and the entire Onah family, offering words of comfort and encouraging them to find solace in the knowledge that Chief Boniface Wilson Onah’s legacy will live on.
